Geopark Welcome Centre
The Centre features pictures, videos, artifacts and information on the geology, history and culture of the Geopark and shares its connection to UNESCO Global Geoparks from around the world. It’s also the site of the only original World War II Observation Tower in Canada, which offers a view of the Bay and countryside. Wi-Fi access; Guides, maps and merchandise available; Kenomee Canyon back-country camping registration; ATV & Hiking Trail Maps also available for sale.
Directions: From Truro, take the Trans Canada Highway and exit at Masstown. Take the first exit at the roundabout and continue on Trunk 4 until Glenholme. Turn left onto Trunk 2, and continue west to Bass River. Turn left at the stop sign after the Bass River Bridge, and continue to Economy.
