Three Sisters (Eatonville) Site Manager Contract

2026 Season

 

Contract Position:    Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark is seeking early selection of a Three Sisters (Eatonville) Site Manager.

Role:                 

PreOpening Phase: Join an energetic volunteer local team working hard to prepare the building, funding and programming for the summer 2026 season. Several milestones must be reached before a final “open” decision is made by the Geopark Board of Directors. The successful candidate is expected to work a minimum 50 hours for a payment of $1000 prior to the final “open” decision by the Board.       

Open Phase:    If the building opens, the successful candidate will become the season’s Site Manager at a rate of $20/hour. If a decision is made to not open this year, a partial payment based on $20/hour will be made to the candidate for their work during the PreOpening period.

 

Selection Criteria:

Management experience in a broad definition of the phrase – self employment, volunteer work, family commitments which demonstrate the management skills of: people management, financial management, project management, multi-tasking, task completion, written and oral communications skills, self-direction. In addition:

              Demonstrated success in a self-employed environment

              Demonstrated commitment to the values of the geopark

              Technical proficiency and ability to transfer knowledge

Candidate will participate in fund raising / revenue planning to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the site.

Candidate must have their own vehicle and ability to travel to the site as needed.

Confirm your understanding that the initial commitment is for the January-open period for the  minimum $1000 contract.
